If you are a publisher and/or an author then it is essential to have your own website to sell and promote books. However, selling sites with their “buy” and “add to cart” buttons can be complicated to setup unless you are a professional website developer. I have been struggling with the complexities of the Paypal website selling system. It works fine for my paperback books which require mail order delivery. But I have not been able to come to terms with the packages available for selling digital downloadable ebooks and audio books.
I have now come up with a simple solution. I have rarely sold any downloadable goods in the past, even when the system was working properly. Peatmore Press ebook sales have been chiefly achieved through the Amazon Kindle Store and now I have begun selling on the Apple iBook Store. My solution is to link the Peatmore Press sales pages directly to both stores and let them do the hard work. Click on http://www.peatmore.com and go to the individual book pages to see the results.
